Fibre in Mijas: coverage, operators and what it costs
Mijas is really two places. There is the white village up the mountain with its tourist old town, and there is Mijas Costa — La Cala de Mijas, Calahonda, Riviera del Sol — where most of the international community actually lives. Fibre follows that split: excellent along the coast, address-dependent in the village and the inland urbanisations.

Mijas Costa has full fibre coverage from most operators. Up in Mijas Pueblo, Movistar's network is the most reliable and some virtual operators do not reach the highest streets. Calahonda, Riviera del Sol, El Faro and La Cala are well covered by all the main operators. Always confirm by exact address rather than by area — the old centre of Mijas Pueblo and the Mijas Golf urbanisations both have edge cases.
