Simyo
Simyo fibre, explained in English
Simyo's fibre runs over Orange's fibre-to-the-home network, so it reaches a large part of Spain. Here are its broadband-only and fibre + mobile plans, and below them what's worth knowing before you sign: the installation, the router, and what happens if you leave early.

Pick the speed, then the mobile data. Between 600 Mb and 1 Gb the price gap is small; if you're unsure, tell us what you actually use and we'll say whether you need it.

Before you sign
- Simyo's mobile lines have no lock-in. The fibre, in practice, has a 3-month commitment: installation is free if you stay more than 3 months, and if you leave sooner you pay the prorated part.
- An installer calls to book a visit within the first 7 days and leaves the router set up before going.
- The router is an Orange Livebox and renting it is free. If you cancel, you have 45 days to send it back; if it doesn't arrive, or arrives damaged, it's charged.
- To sign up to Simyo with us, a passport and a bank account in the SEPA area are fine, but Simyo asks for a Spanish mobile as the contact number. If you don't have one yet, you can get a prepaid SIM or eSIM from us first, or choose an Expat plan, which doesn't ask for one.
No Spanish number yet? Our Expat plans activate with a passport and a SEPA IBAN, and no Spanish phone.
